With the Golden State Warriors losing on Friday night to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the surprising Atlanta Hawks have moved to the top spot in this week's NOLA.com|The Times Picayune power rankings. The Hawks have won 25 of 27 games and improved their Eastern Conference's best record to 32-8.
1. Atlanta Hawks: Have won 11 consecutive games and are off their best 40-game start in franchise history.
2. Golden State Warriors: Top scoring team in the NBA, averaging 109.4 points per game.
3. Portland Trail Blazers: Are 11-2 when guard Damian Lillard has at least 25 points and five assists.
4. Memphis Grizzlies: In two games since he was acquired in a trade from Boston, forward Jeff Green has averaged 15.5 points for the Grizzlies.
5. Washington Wizards: Have 17 wins at home, the most among Eastern Conference teams.
6. Houston Rockets: Guard James Harden is the NBA's leading scorer with a 27.0 average.
7. Dallas Mavericks:Are 16-4 against Eastern Conference teams.
8 Chicago Bulls: Had lost four of five while allowing 102.4 points before beating the Celtics on Friday night.
9. Toronto Raptors: Have committed 17 or more turnovers in its last seven games.

15. Oklahoma City Thunder: In a push to get back to playoff contention, the Thunder has won six of its last 10 games.
16. New Orleans Pelicans:Have lost six of their last seven on the road.
17. Miami Heat: The Heat is averaging just 93.5 points per game, the third lowest in the NBA.
18. Denver Nuggets: Unable to get a season-high six-game winning streak with Friday's loss to the Mavericks.
19. Brooklyn Nets: Ended a seven-game losing by beating the Washington Wizards. It was the Nets' longest losing streak since 2012.
